We are an out-of-network provider, parents who choose our services will receive the quality ABA treatment their child deserves. At EBCS/PCA, we take pride as clinical practitioners in the behavioral health industry with an emphasis on behavioral data collection and analysis. One of the most interesting aspects of behavior modification and data analysis is to creatively apply foundational principles to many distinct aspects of life. Below is a list of EBCS/PCA’s high-level overview of the assessment, implementation, and maintenance of treatment goals in ABA:

Comparably, the same foundational steps to identify ‘target behaviors’ when working with children with autism, can also be applied to aiding with naming key performance indicators. We have ABA/RBT certified staff on board and trained/licensed professionals. Our hours provide full-day treatment 8:00 am-3:30 pm Monday through Friday with Saturday Respite (Play-day) from 9:am-3:00 pm. If you need more information, please feel free to contact me. EBCS specializes in working with pre-k children with autism and developmental delays ages 3-5 years old, our focus is educational, social, life-skills, and behavioral which is based on the Functional Behavior Analysis and assessment model assessing functional performance. The FBA encompasses learning how to identify interfering behavior, social skills, pragmatic language, expressive and receptive language, and fine and gross motor skills.

Our owner, Dr Lorenzo Woodson started Educational & Behavioral Consulting Services LLC in 2012 when he became a licensed behavioral Specialist by the State of Pennsylvania’s Bureau for Autism. He decided to open the Pediatric Center for Autism.
Dr Woodson holds a PhD and is a licensed behavioral specialist and is certified in Functional Behavior Analysis and assessments (FBA) and has more than 15 years of experience in the field of Human Services profession as a Human Services -Board Certified Practitioner (HS-BCP). Dr Woodson has published research: Woodson, A. L. (2017). Teacher and Student Variables Affecting Special Education Evaluation and Referral. ProQuest. Walden University, Minneapolis Minnesota. Journal of At-Risk Issues – part of the National Dropout Prevention Center.

Our mission is to provide children and families with innovative, clinically based, therapeutic, evidence-based, and pragmatic approaches to child development and social development that is inclusive and comprehensive. Also provide efficient and effective professionals that promote positive structure, and discipline within the classroom using functional routines, positive pro-social behavioral reinforcement, visual schedules, and parental input.

We serve the Northwest region of the Philadelphia Community and the broader multi-cultural Philadelphia community. We are the only African American agency of this type that services in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We are in a smaller setting; we are hands-on in providing our services to children and parents. Parents are offered opportunities to learn innovative ways to learn and grow around the latest behavioral approaches to improve parent-child relationships particularly those with children on the autism spectrum.
Our teachers and therapists hold bachelor's degrees and master's degrees. Our paraprofessionals hold Associate degrees. They are also trained and certified in specific areas.
Our approaches successfully address specific types of childhood developmental disabilities including Autism.
We provide evidence-based behavior strategies that are shown to be effective 90% of the time with children with developmental issues when behavior strategies are employed consistently
